About SEC

The Faculty of Science, Engineering and Computing.

The Faculty of Science, Engineering and Computing (SEC) is the newest faculty at Kingston University. Set up in 2011, SEC brings together three existing faculties at Kingston and aims to encourage interdisciplinary research, improve the scope of the student experience and encourage partnerships between academia and commerce. Through a collaborative approach, SEC offers greater access to resources, knowledge and information and a broader perspective on its subjects, with teaching and research staff working more closely with their colleagues in other disciplines.
