MSc by Research Studentships
The Faculty of Science, Engineering and Computing are pleased to invite applications for six funded MSc by Research studentships (full-time study only). The studentships will be awarded to the highest quality candidates, and will support research in key areas across the Faculty that will enhance the University's Research Excellence Framework (REF) submission, and are likely to make an impact as defined in the REF. The projects are interdisciplinary, and interested candidates are invited to follow this link for a list of project descriptions:
Candidates interested in a particular project are invited to communicate with the proposed Director of Studies for each project for further information, whose contact details will be available from the link above.
Deadline for applications: Wednesday 25th July 2012
Stipend: £14,200 pa Plus UK/EU fees (overseas candidates would need to demonstrate that they can fund the difference in fees).
Interviews will take place beginning from Wednesday 25th August until the positions have been filled.
At the end of these studies, funding will be made available to support two further PhD studentships.

Please note that international students need to demonstrate the English language competence through a qualification obtained by IELTS at the 6.5 grade, or equivalent.
