Digital Information Research Centre

The Digital Information Research Centre (DIRC) is dedicated to the advancement of the theory and applicability of computer science, to enable internationally-leading work in the field of computer science. The Centre provides an inclusive and outward looking environment for research development, fostering interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research to achieve maximum impact on culture, society and industry.

Themes

DIRC is organised around three non-exclusive research themes: Communications, Vision and
Security. Across them, staff conduct research in the following areas:
