Full time PhD study

A range of projects are available for self-funded PhD study. In such cases, students will have to fund their own study initially. However, if the work leads to subsequent funding from industry or other sources, CFES will then be able to fund partially or in full the cost of the study.

PhD by distance learning

CFES accepts students for PhD study by distance learning. In such circumstances, students will conduct most of the study abroad with a local institution in their home country and only liable for a much reduced tuition fees of around £1500 p.a.
