Kingston University’s School of Civil Engineering & Construction is opening its doors to visitors to reveal how civil engineers shape the world around us – and to inspire the next generation of civil engineers.
This exciting one day event includes a welcome lecture, a campus and laboratory tour, the Lego bridge-building challenge and an engineering quiz. What’s more, visitors get the chance to chat to current students and researchers.
This event is ideal for Sixth Form students/A level students interested in pursuing a career in civil engineering.
Open House London 2012 is a free festival sponsored by the Institution of Civil Engineers (http://www.ice.org.uk/) as a way to promote the vital role of the civil engineer in maintaining the capital’s infrastructure.
