The faculty of Science, Engineering and Computing will have a stand in the Innovation Zone. Along with other leading universities and organisations such as Airbus and Rolls Royce, we will be showcasing the work we do in research and innovation. In particular we will be talking about the way we use innovative research to provide tailored solutions for industry. Friday 13th is Futures Day, when the exhibition welcomes students up to the age of 21 who are considering a career in aerospace and associated industries.

Students, Alumni, staff and industry visitors are encouraged to come and visit us on stand 22 in the Innovation Zone. The Airshow runs from Monday 9th – Friday 13th July (trade exhibition), with the public Airshow on Saturday and Sunday 14/15th July.

In a linked activity, the faculty is promoting an international business matchmaking event on Wednesday 11th July. As part of our role as a London partner in Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), the world’s largest business support organisation, we are inviting companies and research organisations to meet potential commercial and technology partners from the rest of Europe and beyond. This free event is being held at the Holiday Inn hotel, directly outside the main entrance to the Airshow, so that visitors can attend without having to register for the show itself.
