Developing collagen based materials for corneal tissue repair

Dr Roanne Jones

Roanne is a Kingston Biomedical science graduate who went on to gain a PhD in tissue engineering at Reading University.  She is currently at the Barts Cancer Institute where she is using her experience in the development of novel collagen based biomaterials to create physiological 3D tissue culture models.

The research seminar will be followed by an informal Q&A session for undergraduate students interested in finding out more about research careers or considering doing a PhD.
