The Isle of Man Government's Department of Economic Development first launched the TT Zero Clean Emissions Motorcycle Race as part of the historic TT Races in 2009, to showcase the Isle of Man's Clean Tech capabilities as well as encouraging enterprise and innovation.

We have been developing electric racing motorbikes since 2008 and have made great leaps forward in the performance level we are achieving. None of this would have been possible without our sponsors, so a huge thanks goes out to them for their continued support. For our 2010-11 season we secured Ecotricity as our Title Sponsor. Ecotrocity provide 'Green Electricity' through their wind farms.

This project will allow our students to have firsthand experience of designing a new bike, using the latest technologies, to very tight deadlines.
