Course Aims
The purpose of this module is to develop a broad understanding of the role of the manager in aircraft maintenance activities
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of the module, students will be able to:
- Critically analyse management structures used in aircraft maintenance organisations
- Evaluate proposed maintenance error management systems (MEMS)
- Assess techniques for resource management within a maintenance organisation
- Critically analyse maintenance planning and control systems
- Critically evaluate safety management systems within aircraft maintenance organisations
- Compare alternative methods of ensuring regulatory compliance within aircraft maintenance organisation
