Biography

I am a human geographer with interests in historical, cultural and social geography. My work to date has mostly been on nineteenth-century Ireland and the various lenses that geographers use to explore that most complicated of Irish centuries. My approaches include the geographical analyses of literary fiction, quantitative analyses of demographic change, archival research using historical GIS and more recently migration mapping.
