Research Interests

My research interests lie in the areas of organometallic chemistry and surface chemistry including ligand synthesis, N-Heterocyclic carbenes, catalysis and surface characterisation.

2013- An Investigation into Surface Modification of Intraocular Lenses to Reduce Calcification- in collaboration with Dr B Ghatora (MSc by Research)
2012-The use of NMR to model components in salival matrices in collaboration with Dr A le Gresley

2010- Synthesis of Chiral Sulfiniminoalkyl Imidazol-2-ylidene Ligands and their application to enantioselective palladium catalyses allylic alkylation PhD project
