Dr Shereen Nabhani

Biography
Dr Nabhani is an oncology specialty pharmacist.
She completed two years of postdoctoral training in the USA. The first was a general pharmacy practice residency at Deaconess Medical center in Washington State, and the second was a specialization in oncology pharmacy practice at H Lee Moffitt Cancer and Research center in Florida.
She is currently licensed to practice pharmacy in the USA (state of Washington), and board certified in oncology pharmacy (BCOP).
Dr Nabhani's research interests focus around the role of pharmacists in providing supportive care for cancer patients.
She is on the editorial board of the Journal of Oncology Pharmacy Practice, and a member of BOPA and ISOPP.

Research Interests
Mobile health is the use of mobile digital devices to promote personalized management of long term conditions. Our research work is based on a multidisciplinary collaboration between pharmacists and computing specialists.
Interactive learning Technology can support students in their learning experience. In a collaborative effort with gaming technology experts, we are currently developing games geared towards pharmacy students and healthcare professionals.
Stability of Anti-Cancer Drugs
Receiving chemotherapy at home can improve the quality of life for cancer patients. Unfortunately, stability studies are often limited. In collaboration with analytical chemists, we are currently studying the stability of anticancer drugs in ambulatory pumps.
